Always inspect, detangle, and co-wash or (shampoo and condition) your hair extensions with premium products prior to installation. A healthy and routine hair care regimen will not only optimize the quality of the hair but it will also add to the longevity of it.
Here at The Boadi Collection we recommend our customers to wash their extensions weekly or biweekly dependent on product use. When conditioning your extensions make sure to saturate the extensions and let the conditioner sit on it for 30 minutes to an hour before rinsing out with lukewarm water. Gently detangling and combing your hair with a paddle brush or wide-toothed comb on a regular basis is a MUST.
Remember, raw hair is hair in the purest of forms so routine, gentle and proper maintenance is required to keep the hair in its best state. Note: every batch of raw hair varies so no two extensions will be identical or consistent. Raw hair will NOT be perfect, and will have a non-uniform wave pattern.
With that being said, raw hair is a high maintenance extension type due its natural state so realistic expectations should be kept in mind when maintaining this hair type.
